Evaluation
Our Video was presented in my opinion just how i visioned it to be. I think personally it is what we was expected and aimed our vision of a narrative video. The whole part of a boy becoming a girl is linked together, especially at the end where the girl disappears and the boy comes, this illusion was presented very well, we used this so that the audience will realize the artist of the music video.
At the start where the beat heads the images are suppose to change, in the video the aims were matched. The idea of the beat and images moving was inspired from Rihanna Feat Calvin Harris - We Found Love, as her movie and duration changes when the music starts and within the music video, so we was inspired by this idea and used it within our video. It took us long time to get the hat scene which we wanted her to flick to hat although it want going within the beat, so we changed it in order for the character to apply by it and also for it to hit the melody.As within this scene the hat is different compared to the other shots. This was one of the changes made within the video because the actress was finding it difficult to wear the LA blue hat as it didn't fit her. As you can spot in the video their is different costumes because as music videos, artist don't always have the same outfits all through the video, by having different styles with hair and outfits this would show that teenagers change clothes so that the public do not understand and see it is them.
These images are used to resemble the clothing which teen boys wear, as you can see the colour of the video is black and white although our aim of having only blue elements standing out has been achieved. When the beat starts the images move within the beat so that it can get the audience attention. But also to move to the melody of the beat, when music being watched people would move and nod to the rhythm, by the video durations changing and moving to the beat audience would be more aware and interacted to the music video. At the start you can not see who the artist is, this is hiding the character in order not to ruin the whole image and vision of the video. This is also would keep the audience attention.
These scenes are the studio scene which is where the character would be making the song he/she has created their music. Although within this video their is a fault which is where there is suppose to be only black and white video with blue elements, there is inappropriate colours. This was a mistake which i, myself made because i added another colour when taking out the images to be blue. This was a mistake although it added a little affect which showed the emotions of the character within those scenes. The studio was meant to have the producer and other equipments showing, we took the shoot when the producer is there to control the artists, although we thought it didn't go with the beat and the mimicking would not be at the beat of the song. So we cut it of. It would of been a much of a realistic video if we had that part although it didn't go with the vision we was trying to achieve. There is scenes which she is laughing although that can be used to show the success and is laughing at how no one was there for him but he is still this great and flamboyant.

So by hiding the identity of a new artist, the audience would be second opinions of who the artist would be, so for hiding the artist identity the audience can appreciate the vocal and artistic of the artist rather than for the looks and charm.

The actions, clothing and attitude has to be strong and ' ghetto' so that she doesn't leave her character. The whole idea of her wearing the "geeky" glasses is to resemble the artist, as the artist himself does wear glasses she is imitating him on every move and outfit he wears.
We had different locations such as the bus, this was used in order to show what a life of a teenager would be. As she sat at the end of the bus, this is a stereotypical thing because teenagers which are from the 'ghetto' or are 'gangsters' they all sit in the back to mess about or to show the others in the bus they control the bus. We used this stereotypical thing in order to still have that image of a teenagers 'boy' life
This is scene is a point of view shoot, we used to show where the character is standing and also to get the vibe of the when people are standing in bus stops. We used this in order to use a different shoot and to show the audience how the character would stand and act physically when they are walking and moving. Also we used to show the examiner that we can use different types of shoots other than simple ones. The colour scheme is still black and white with blue elements.

Rihanna - We Found Love ft. Calvin Harris
The start of this song was setting outside the blocks, which then changes to a scene inside the blocks where Rihanna is staying at, its a 3-2 second duration on the female actor, this then changes to a bath scene which the male character is laying down. Both shoots are showing/ introducing the main characters within this Music Video, they both are from different shoots which gives a interesting vibe and would make the audience more aware of the video and also not to be"boring" for the audience.
The melody of the music goes within the scene which change around, every beat and melody controls the different scenes moving. The narrator is almost setting the scene and telling the story, the 40s vintage English dark dull scene and the British accent is showing a unnatural scenting because as Rihanna is American the video is showing a different scene which can be related to there romance, also the coloring of the video being dull that is also affected and resembled towards the love for each other.
When the piano plays the camera hits onto the male character then when the piano plays again the scene changes into the female character.

When the start there isnt any music apart from the piano, and the narrator is speaking the words she is saying are all being implied within the shoots to show a visual understanding of the video. The music is still controlling when to change scene to still make the audience more attracted and interested within the video, also the wordings are all being implied within the video.
" That without them you feel like nothing". The wording is visually used to show the audience more understanding of the video, also it to engage the audience the meanings of the words and also to show the intimacy within the couple.
The video still is moving to the melody of the song, every beat the piano makes the video scenes change, this is still to engage the audience within the music video. Also the video settings change from the bedroom scene into the fields, although there is a moment which he is standing at the side of the fields and she is within the fields. This is a way to make the audience more interested int the video. The scenes are stilling changing, from scenes of the bath into the street and other scene which considerate onto the characters.
As the video starts as a positive start of which every fun they have the thunder to show a scene of dis-trace.Also its an intro the video which shows the intimacy within the characters also the thunder is a warning showing it might be a sharp and romantic relationship, although if your not safe something wrong might happen, such as someones heart will be broken.
As you can see the machine shows a sign written " PLAY NOW"! This is a sign to show when the music video is going to start in other words its a visual direct understanding on when the music will be playing. The scenes all change and all have a passionate vibe to show to the audience the fun and valuable times they are having together. Scenes are changing very quickly to make the video more interesting and too keep the audience attention because within this generation teens get very bored, very easily because they are use to having something keep them entertained. So when the video keeps changing quickly and having colours which change would make them more concerned.

The drugs and alcohol are resembled as a lose relationship showing that their relationship has hallucinations and unbalanced feelings. The drugs being thrown around and weed/cigarettes being used are to show they hide their emotions through these drugs, images of drugs and alcohol used to visual used to make audience more aware of the interesting. They use the drugs to camouflager the feelings for them and also when the drugs is moving pass out the body system the bad times are coming back. As shown below :
While this relationship is based on drugs, the relationship is lacking and the female character is getting a bit tired of the same routine every time, so she is having many arguments with her lover, these are also some physical arguments which relate to her previous relationship with her ex in 2009. when the drugs are getting off their system they are getting back to their normal energy, their love isn't the same as when they are high and drunk. This is symbiosis by the falling building suggesting their relationship is falling. The images are all changing but the mood has changed it being a relationship which isn't a fairy tale love scene of joy, but a miserable, argumentative love-hate relationship. So the female character can not take this and decides to leave: to put an end to this relationship.

When creating a video, the producer and director would be creating it so that it resembles the lyrics or the type of genre the music video is.
Music itself has many different types of genres, such as RnB, Rock, Indie, Rap, Gospel and many more. So within a music video, the type of colour, equipments and lighting used with have to be reflected to the type of music genre. If the video has inappropriate use of materials or sources that would affect how the video is presented. Music videos are used to resemble a short story to the lyrics of the artist. In fact music videos are like films although they show the whole meaning of a video but in a short story, which films don't do, allowing for extremely poetic artistic expression to be shown. How Chroma Key Used
Green and blue background are the two colours used when making affected movies and filming. Usually these colours are used because they are the only two main colours furthest away from skin tone. The Image above the background would still be the same, while the background changes and becomes the alternative background the person wants.
Green is used mainly because blue can camouflage with someones eye colour. So due to the that green would be more appropriate to use and also green is more sensitive towards the camera implying that the filming which would mean that the green coloring would be mimicking the human eyes increasing the green light, therefore the colour would produce the cleanest key/matte/mask.

Analysis of performers style and image in order to create a suitable music video for the performer.
This video is about a boy which is telling the world that nothing is there to stop him from his fame, As people always wants to be other people when they are famous or reach famous, the idea of a girl is to show that he is imitating those who want to be him and reach his success. So the idea of a girl wearing masculine outfits our idea. But the idea is that she dresses like a boy/ girl who lives within the 'hoods' so that the scenes in the bus and studio make sense.
The make up which she would be wearing is going to be clear so that it keeps that natural look of a boy, Although some scene she would be having her hair up to represent a boy although at other scenes her hair down to still keep the idea of her being a girl. As her eyes are blue, we would try to keep it dark within the editing because the colour element which is only going to stand out is blue which is nearly the same colour as the actress.

Steadicam: we would need this as; the Camera would be following the actress movements. Also it would be very easy for us to move around.
Tripod: This would need as some video positions we would need to be steady, so the tripod would capture a better movement. Artificial Lighting: This might be needed. The lighting would keep the same in the video and to create a better vibe.
Studio Monitors: Loud speakers are used in order to project the music and sound around the area. This equipment will be used within our Studio scene in order to keep the studio scene realist. These types of monitors are used.
Microphones: This is used to project the persons/ object sound out loud and more projective in order to be heard properly. Microphone would be used to keep that studio vibe; so that the video looks like a real studio which celebrities and other music artist record their music within.
Laptops (Apple Mac) : This would also be within the music video and out. The apple macs would be used within the video to create that studio scene and also to show the new technology within the video. Also out the video, Apple mac computers would be used as they would be used to edit the videos.
Keyboard: (Music) This is to be used when the studio scene which can be used to show a more realistic studio. Also the keyboards are there to represent music. Also this is to get the audience attention.
Budget
The cost of the costume and location would be freee as we would have access to get our own costume. Also we would only have to pay the fee for the bus fair which is going to be £4.50. The only problem we are going to face is if the bus company asks us to give in some money to use the bus.

Presentation
This is our presentation, it is to display our inspirations and goals toward the class and so that they would understand what we would want within our video. The presentation shows little parts of our pre-production and storyline.

The type of Animation of writing used in this video, is the type we want to use. We are using this type of animation because we want to create a live vibe. Also it would be very unique from other type of music videos, as our video would be in black and white. As many video's that are being produced they have animation so that it has that trend of wild, free and energetic. Many music videos are used to the type of things the audience do, such as trends, the type of beat they are now interested in music videos. So within our video we choose to have animation so that it would interest the audience and make them feel more attracted to the video.

Location List
Our location for our work would be in different areas. Our 1st area we would be located is at a house. This place is needed becuase in our video the place it will be starting would be in side a bedroom. The 2nd location would be in a bus stop. We are using this location becuase this music video is ment to show the life was a teenager, so the bus stop would be a appropraite place to film it in. Another location would be within the bus. This to engage with the scene in the bus stop. The other location would be in the area near the studio. Samantha would be walking in the street, to show the narrative side of the music video. It also would be in the same location as the studio.
The studio will be located in Foleshill/Stoney Stanton. We choosen this location becuase one of the members have easy acces to the area. Also it is to reflex on the moral we are trying to send.

Treatment
This Music video is about a young boy who wants to gain success and trying to show the world no one is going to stop him. Although there is a mix. Which is the artist himself acting in the video, it is a female. She would be living a life like a teenager boy who wants to get famous. This video is going through reality scenes, from Double Decker buses to the studio. As many teenagers and other people want to reach fame, Sam the actress is imitating the artist as her 'role model'. She would display herself as him, dress like him, walk like him and also act like him, this is what many teenagers would do in this generation. For example when Nicki Minaj was introduced into the 'Music Game', many female and male people started to imitate her look and how she acts, this can be the same towards our video. He would go to the studios to standing around bus stops, she would imitate the exact things so that the audience understand the lifestyle of the artist

Mood Board
The mood board shows what types of colours, shots and images we would like to present within our music video. It also shows the type of music video we would be trying to present with the images, for example the hat and black and white pictures show the video type we are using and what materials which are going to be within the video.
